Before (you can see by the clean hands):
So the pics did not attach this morning so I will have to update this later with the photos. For now, here is your daily fix!
Yesterday was a rainy morning so Alex was wearing her raincoat which made her bag only ever so slightly lighter and less jam packed. There were puddles in the parking lot and she came home with muddy and wet sneakers--hmmmm...I'm no Matlock but I think maybe she has been jumping in the mud puddles.
Bumbo was there when Alex arrived and said "hi Alex!" she did not respond. That's cold. Poor Bumbo. Bumbo was also in his raincoat but none of the girls were so Alex took hers off too. Any excuse....
Brianna (the mini bully) went over to chat w/ Alex and they seemed like friends. When jeff came she said "Alex, your dad's here!" They even hugged at one point. And they were chatting and said "if we are good girls they said we will get a goodie bag". Bribery works.
Why has mini-bully been so nice? Maybe Alex opened a can of whoop-ass already and I just don't know about it (think Mini-Adventure) or maybe she actually went through with her threat to "push her down" if she bullies her. Or perhaps she gave her the cold shoulder--the freeze-out usually works. Unclear.
The strangest part of the day was that she didn't go swimming. None of the girls went in the pool. She said they didn't want to. When i inquired further she said 'i wasn't feeling well' and when i asked why the other girls didn't swim she said 'they weren't feeling well either'. Are they covering for each other already? Aren't they a little young for that? Weird.
They had environment and Alex really liked it. something about a pond and a net but the details are fuzzy. I did investigate further and she vaguely mentioned something about bugs. Environment--they saw bugs. Really?! She said she saw a "chukkaluka chakkalaca animal bug". Twice. (I asked her to repeat that, thinking I would catch her in a....let's call it a material misstatement of fact....and she repeated it. Verbatim. Well that certainly blew up in MY face!)
When we asked about achery she said yes, she did it. No details. I was suspicious. When we asked if anyone hit a bulls-eye she said "Bumbo, but i don't know his last name"! He's like
At the end of the day, she almost left without her raincoat. Guess who saved the day....Luke to the rescue (again)! He ran after her with the raincoat. She really has him wrapped around her little teeny tiny finger. Gotta love Luke.
She said her goodbyes to the girls and that was that. Parents' night is tonight. will try to get some good pics and video--I'm hoping for some good material!
