So far camp seems to be a success. On Day 1 she made it through the day with only one casualty. Her hello kitty sunglasses were trampled and crushed under foot, but she said she would ask Grandma Maddy to make her a new pair. Good luck with that Maddy--let me know how that goes.
She didn't eat much lunch, but she did eat fruit. she came home ravenous and filthy and relatively happy. Too bad she still stayed up til 9pm (at least she woke up by 7am today).
At dismissal time she was nowhere to be found, until Jeff spotted a group of 4 girls huddled together, and there she was, in the middle of the fray. Gotta love it.
Day 2 went even better. Her sunglasses came home in one piece, she liked her lunch and snack, and she had swimming today. She came home hungry again, which is a great development.
at dismissal time, she walked (waddled?) over to Jeff wearing her giant backpack, dropped it on the ground, and announced 'i'm going to the sandbox'. she took off her shoes, and got right in there. I wish I could have seen that. Sounds funny.
Tomorrow archery is on the schedule so I should have some good stuff to report!
