After that they had Pool and Alex was in the intermediate depth again. She has been loving swimming and learning in the pool. Then they all suddenly had to get out. Another kid got sick. Poor Bumbo? (Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me?) Jeff asked Alex if Bumbo got sick in the pool again. She said no, it was Nate. He is also in her group. When we asked what happened she said that he must have swallowed water and then throwed (frowed) up.
Tom's Trail was also on the schedule but it was not to be because of the heat. Instead, she did a drawing. Jeff thinks it was supposed to show people important to her. She drew me, herself, a "monkey-dog", and a "monkey-cat". She said that Jeff was at the store. Jeff asked what he got at the store and she said, "cough drops, circle things*, hot dogs, ices, ice cream sandwiches."
The heat took out Water adventure as well. The water level was too low for them to get in the boats. Laura mentioned something about a beach and I think maybe the sandpit. (I think "beach" = "sandpit" using their "imaginations")
Jeff asked Alex about the beach. She said there was no beach. Then she said it was a dirty beach. Then she said it was a swamp. Jeff asked if it was nice. She said no.
She cracks me up.
Then it was again time for Mini Adventure. She said two words. Ninja Training. That was it. First rule....
