Alex had sports in the morning. We're told that she played the whole time. They played
They had sandcastles and Woodshop. They made a super cool airplane in Woodshop (photos above). And they worked on their skits/songs for Parents' Night. Something about jelly hands? We shall see....
Instead of Ross Field Games they played their games in the sandpit. You can tell. See above. Although it certainly beats missing Ross Field Games for a lice check. Just sayin. She said she used the digger again and they may have played
Looks like there are 2 new girls in her group. Alex says one of them is nice and was her partner during protect the ball (what?! It is completely feasible and likely that the name of that game is "Protect the Ball" judging from the creativity of the names of the other activities.....)
She said that Mini-Bully (who is now her friend) was a good girl today and didn't punch anyone. WTF?! Maybe Alex is practicing the age-old strategy of keeping her frenemies close....We asked if MB ever punches her and she said no, and that MB is always a good girl. She said that one of the new girls punched her in the elbow because Alex told her not to touch MB's water bottle. She said it hurt but she didn't cry. She told Nick about it and he spoke to her and she got in trouble. Alex didn't seem at all fazed by it. She said that the new girl and Maya are mean to everyone and the other girls don't like them but that the others all like her. Sometimes the nice guys do finish first!
I asked Alex about Bumbo and how he is doing and does she ever see him anymore and she said "why do you love Bumbo so much?!" I don't know. I just do. More tomorrow after Parents' Night!
