Ok--so I know I have been completely MIA but I am going to try to be back. I am off this week so I will have more time for the updates.
Last week, Wednesday was Parents' Night. I was looking forward to see the medley of songs the different groups were doing. Most of them for the groups in her age group did "repeat after me" songs and you STILL can't understand what they are saying. I was also looking forward to seeing Bumbo for the first time.
When we got to the show, we saw Bumbo's name in the program but he was a no show! Honestly, I still have no proof that Bumbo actually exists. He is still snuffy to me. We snagged front (picnic table) row seats this time but some mom managed to get in our way by sitting on the tree stump in front of us, completely oblivious that she was blocking our shots. If you see a hat, an arm and/or a camera in the shots, that's why.
They sang a jellyfish song and they wore little masks and tissue paper tentacles (I guess that's what the jellyhands were). It was cute--Alex was the only one wearing her sunglasses for th e finale. She is a pint sized tastemaker. Loves it. And by the way, not only did she NOT snub us this time, she actually smiled and ran to me, open armed, like we were in the Notebook or something. Awesome.
